Foundation receives $100,000 gift from volunteers

Gilroy, California (June 23, 2010) – The Saint Louise Regional Hospital Foundation proudly announces the receipt of a remarkable $100,000 gift from the hospital’s volunteer group.  The gift, to be paid over a multi-year pledge period, will support major capital projects at Saint Louise in Gilroy and the De Paul Health Center in Morgan Hill.

“This gift will hopefully inspire prospective donors to set their sights high and give generously,” says Christine Flautt, Chair of the Saint Louise Regional Hospital volunteers. “All the Volunteers and Associates support this donation wholeheartedly.”

The contribution will come from a variety of volunteer fund raising activities including gift shop sales and other targeted annual efforts.

“We are excited that our volunteers are making a significant commitment to help the hospital accomplish its ambitious goals over the next years,” says Michele Averill, CEO of the Saint Louise Regional Foundation.  “They see the hospital’s long-term vision and support its work to bring world-class health care to South County.”

The volunteers’ gift is the third six-figure commitment the Foundation has received in 2010.
