We are pleased to offer a package of benefits that is flexible, allowing associates to choose coverage most suited to their lifestyle and needs. Your benefits program becomes a matter of personal choice.
Eligible full-time and part-time associates receive choices for Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee and Dependent Life, Long Term Disability (LTD), Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) and spending accounts (medical and dependent care options). We also offer coverage of Legally Domiciled Adults (domestic partners or an adult residing in your household).
Medical: Choices are available for medical plan coverage, each of which offers competitive benefits and low out-of-pocket expenses. Currently, we offer Blue Shield PPO and Blue Shield POS.
Dental: Choices are available for dental coverage; in addition, orthodontic benefits are available for eligible adults and dependent children. Currently, we offer Delta Dental and Cigna plans.
Vision: Coverage is available for vision-related services and needs. Currently we offer VSP and MES.
Basic Life: A basic level of life insurance is provided and additional coverage may be purchased.
Dependent Life: Spouse and dependent life is available at various levels of coverage.
Spending Accounts: Associates may establish spending accounts for annual out-of-pocket healthcare or dependent care expenses. All contributions to this account are made with pre-tax dollars.
Long-term Disability (LTD): If you are disabled due to injury or illness, you may be eligible to receive LTD benefits, which replace a portion of your lost income. A basic level of LTD is provided and other levels are available to purchase.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D): To supplement your life insurance benefit, you have the option to select AD&D insurance.
Paid Time Off (PTO): PTO accrues each pay period based on years of service and combines traditional holidays, vacation and sick time into a single account.
Tax Shelter Annuity (403 b): DIA (Diversified Investment Advisers Inc.), a Supplemental Retirement Plan. This benefit is a tax sheltered annuity plan that allows associates to set aside pre-tax dollars in order to supplement their retirement.
Retirement Plan: Retirement Plan for Hospital Employees (RPHE). If you are eligible to participate in the Plan, you join the Plan on your date of hire with the participating employer. The full cost of the Plan is paid for by participating employers. RNs have a retirement plan through their union.
Tuition Assistance: We encourage professional development and provide a tuition assistance program for eligible associates. ($2000/Fiscal Year)
