The dictionary tells us that philanthropists are people who promote human welfare through a gift or an act. The desire to help others in a very tangible way - to be true humanitarians - sustains Saint Louise Regional Hospital, allowing it to weather economic storm clouds and maintain the highest standards of medical care. Each year, hundreds of generous benefactors, many of them former patients grateful for the care they or a loved one received here, have made donations that enable us to continue our mission to provide excellent, compassionate care for all. We deeply appreciate all those who have contributed to this vital community hospital. We hope you, too, will choose to support us through tax-deductible contributions to the Saint Louise Regional Hospital Foundation.
There are a number of ways you can give:
Annual gifts support our current programs and capital equipment or construction projects - and are essential to the smooth functioning of Saint Louise Regional Hospital. You may donate to one of the priorities of the Commitment to Caring Campaign through an annual gift of cash, a check or stock. If giving to another program or need would be more meaningful to you, please contact the foundation.
Planned gifts are a means to contribute to the hospital through long-term financial and estate planning such as a will, life insurance or a living trust. By remembering Saint Louise Regional Hospital in this way, donors leave a continuing legacy to the hospital. The gift can be used for annual needs or directed to a particular hospital department or program.
Endowment gifts are contributions that are invested, enabling the hospital to use interest that accrues on the gifts in whatever way the donors specify. This can be a particularly meaningful gift for donors, whose generosity can be felt far into the future or in perpetuity.
