MRI is one of the safest, and one of the most comfortable imaging techniques. The MRI is a painless method of looking inside the body with out using radiation (x-rays) or surgery. The MRI scanner uses magnetism and radio waves, which are harmless, to produce highly defined images of the human anatomy. Our specialized training and experience enables us to give our patients the best diagnostic experience.
CT(CAT scan) Computerized Tomography: This is a computer assisted medical imaging device. Using small amounts of radiation projected through specific regions of the body to produce cross-sectional images (slices). Because of the high definition of these images patients can potentially avoid exploratory surgery. Our 64 slice machine is quick and quiet and provides a low radiation exposure to the patient and allows for greater clarity and detail.
Ultrasound is a painless and safe method of imaging which uses soundwaves to view internal structures of the body. High frequency sound waves are used to assess fetal development; examine internal body stuctures and assess the vascular system.
