Preparation for the MRI experience: Most scans require little or no preparation or specialized diet or fasting. Further questions may be asked by the Technologist or Radiologist supervising your study. You will be asked to change to a gown (if necessary) and remove all metal objects. Please leave all metal valuables at home if possible. Please inform the Technologist if you have ever been exposed to metal flying fragments, either from work (i.e. welding) or by accidents.
