Saint Louise Regional Hospital offers outpatient nutrition counseling provided by a registered dietitian for a variety of issues including:
- Cardiac
- Renal
- Diabetes
- Cancer
- Hypertension
- TPN (nutrition provided through the veins)
- Weight Management
- Celiac Disease
- Hyperlipidemia
- Tube Feedings
- Food Allergies
A physician referral is required to receive nutrition counseling. Upon receipt of the referral, a dietitian will contact the patient to schedule an appointment date and time. Verbal instructions and written materials are available in Spanish.
