Saint Louise Regional Hospital is committed to caring for the whole person — body, mind and spirit — and the Spiritual Care Team is here to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients, their families and their friends.
We are available to help you explore spiritual questions and concerns that may arise during hospitalization. Patients will receive an introductory visit from a member of the Spiritual Care Team within 24-48 hours of admission. We are committed to respecting your specific faith tradition or your individual spiritual journey, and to exploring the hopes, doubts, fears and struggles that are part of our shared human experience. Our team consists of professionally trained Chaplains, Pastoral Visitors, and Eucharistic Ministers, supported by priests from local parishes. Your own clergy or advisor is welcome at any time, and we’ll be happy to contact them for you if you wish.
The hospital chapel is located on the 2nd floor. Visitors of all faiths are welcome to visit the chapel for prayer and meditation at any time. Catholic Mass is celebrated weekly and Holy Communion is shared daily with all Catholic patients who wish to receive. (Mass can be viewed in patient rooms on channel 24.) The Sacrament of the Sick is available to all Catholic patients and can be arranged through the Spiritual Care Department.
It is the desire of the entire Saint Louise Regional Hospital staff to work together in meeting your spiritual needs.
